What we collect

When you create a Destli account, we collect your email address and, optionally, your display name and profile picture. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from those providers.

When you use the country tracker, trip planner, or other features, we store the data you enter (countries visited, trip details, comments) so you can access it later.

How we use your data

• Provide and improve the Destli service
• Send transactional emails (sign-in links, trip invitations)
• Display your public profile and travel map if you opt in
• Generate anonymized usage statistics

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not show ads.

Third-party services

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting (EU region)
• Vercel — web hosting and edge delivery
• Mapbox — interactive maps (no personal data shared)
• Resend — transactional email delivery

Cookies

Destli uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Your theme preference (light/dark) is stored in localStorage.

Your rights

You can export or delete your account data at any time from your account settings. Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data. Contact us at [email protected] for data requests.

Data retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
